Bamana Society,
Chi Wara, Antelope-Style Headdress, used in
ceremonial dance. Typical form, with some of the
original colorful tassels remaining. It is from the Millicent Wylly
collection/estate; COA and biography are
available. Dates c. 1920-30. The
fine piece has an old tag, on the bottom, identifying it and also
noting it as being from the Wylly estate/collection. Measures 22 long and
9 high.
