ancestral figure. Seated figures are somewhat rare, usually being tribal
dignitaries . This piece is also especially tall, measuring 25” high. It has typical Attie “scarification
plugs,” versus the more common scar markings; this piece also has
a very old homespun loincloth and fine old beads. We estimate the age at
60 to 75 years. |
